Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction to certain substances such as:
- Peanuts,
- Shellfish,
- Wasp stings,
- Aspirins etc.
The symptoms include swelling of the hands, face, mouth, severe itching, difficulty in breathing, and collapse.
Many sufferers carry an EPIPEN Auto-Injector which they may use themselves, or they can be assisted by a trained user.
